Zara Ashtiani, Associate
Zara Ashtiani focuses her practice on plaintiff and defense-side civil litigation, mainly within the realm of employment law and civil rights violations. She handles matters relating to separations/terminations, breach of contract, discrimination, harassment, retaliation disputes, misclassification, wage and hour violations, and best practices. Zara spent her law school years as a law clerk in criminal defense and continued in this focus after graduation. In 2023, she shifted her focus to employment and civil rights matters, while working as a paralegal with the Costanzo Law Firm. Although Zara is new to practicing law, her time as a paralegal has provided Zara with the real-world functions of a legal practice necessary to effectively advocate for her clients.
Outside of the office, Zara is a dedicated friend, daughter, wife, and mother. She often spends her free time at swim meets with her family and enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her dog, Lu Dog.
